DANCE EDUCATION
IMG_1585 2_edited_edited.jpg

The studios at Northeast School of Ballet are housed in a beautiful old church in a historic New England town, with high vaulted ceilings and light streaming in through stained glass windows. Dancing here has been a daily inspiration since I began my education at the age of six.

Under the direction of Denise Cecere and the esteemed faculty at NSB, I received a strong foundation in classical ballet, contemporary, modern, ballroom, hip hop, and jazz, and went on to be accepted into The Conservatory.

Training in NSB’s dedicated, full-time program has provided expansive opportunities to learn and perform new & classical repertoire. I have also had the opportunity to participate in choreographers' workshops, receive coaching from renowned artists and professionals, and so much more in preparation for a career as a professional dancer.

SUMMER INTENSIVES

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to broaden my training at various summer programs. Most recently, I studied at The Royal Ballet School in London, UK, for five weeks under the direction of Iain Mackay.

I have also spent summers performing in the festival & pre-professional programs of The Chautauqua Institution, under the direction of Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Patricia McBride & Sasha Janes.

While a few opportunities were lost due to the COVID pandemic, including the chance to study at the School of American Ballet, I nevertheless count myself fortunate to have gained invaluable summer experiences studying with distinguished faculty, as well as exposure to new technique, choreography and repertoire.
